Labrador Retriever - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Reggie/THE SNU
Description
Reggie (and dad Rex) are ready for their Forever Homes. They were found in the coldest part of winter and had been living on the streets for several months. They were taken into foster care and treated for their colds/fevers and are now in great health and have come a long way. Reggie's age is estimated to be around 2 years old and will be 2.5 years old in November. He is very calm and laid back and wants a family who will consider all he's been through. He loves cats and all other dogs and is learning to be brave around children. It took Reggie longer to trust new situations and new people but he has really come out of his shell. At times, he can still be timid and unsure when his routine changes but if he sees that Rex is accepting of the situation, then he feels its okay and will follow. He does okay on a leash but still gets a little nervous in the car. Reggie is crate trained and housebroken. Although he loves to spend time outside on pretty days, he's a totally inside dog. Hea loves to sleep in the same room at night with his foster parents. Reggie is the biggest snuggler of the two. He loves to sleep close to you and loves to give kisses. He will lay his head near you and just look up at you so adoringly, as if to say youre the best thing on earth. And to him, you are! Hes finally learning that all humans arent bad and that there are actually really nice people who will be kind to him and not hurt him. There are only two things that Reggie doesnt like: Baths and being away from Rex. Reggie is a very loving dog. He wants to go to a home that is open to adopting the two of them. These two sweet boys as a package deal. Please feel free to read more about how great Rex is too.
