Labrador Retriever - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Rex/The whole

Rex (and son Reggie) are ready for their Forever Homes. They were found in the coldest part of winter and had been living on the streets for several months. They were taken into foster care and treated for their colds/fevers and are now in great health. They have come such a long way. And as iflife had not been rough enough for these guys, Rex had been hit by a car and had a horrible limp. His foster mom is so grateful to a good Samaritan, who came to the rescue and donated the funds to pay for his surgery. Now Rex is doing just fine! Although he's an extremely laid back guy, he can run and romp with the other dogs in his foster home. It is as if nothing ever happened. His age is estimated to be around 2.5 years nearing 3 years in November. Not only is he handsome but he's the whole package. He's the more outgoing of the two, very socialiable and never meets a stranger. He loves cats and all other dogs and is even very tolerant of younger children. He does great on a leash and in the car. Rex is crate trained and housebroken. Although he loves to spend time outside on pretty days, he's TOTALLY an inside dog and loves to sleep in the same room at night with his foster parents. The floor is fine with him, just give him his blankie and he is set. He loves being with his family. He loves hugs and adores giving kisses! There are only two things that Rex doesnt like: Baths and being away from Reggie. They are totally bonded. Rex is an all around perfect dog! His heart's desire is to go to a home that will take him and Reggie. These two sweet boys are a package deal. Please feel free to read more about how great Reggie is too.
