Newfoundland Dog - Large - Adult - Female - Dog - Stella
Description
Stella is the SWEETEST dog you'll ever meet. She was brought to the vet as a young puppy to be put down. Since there was nothing wrong with her, the vet called us & the owner surrendered her to us. She was a very large puppy but only grew to a 45-50 lb dog. She's solid black with striking gold eyes. She's about 1 1/2 yrs old & has been to every adoption event we've ever had, but somehow always gets overlooked. Black dogs & cats are often overlooked. Stella is sweet, loving, playful & gets along with everyone. Her only downfall is digging. She LOVES to dig, in fact, she LIVES to dig. She's working on striking oil in her foster mom's front yard right now! She digs the hole, buries her toy, then digs some more. Stella needs a family who will love her, appreciate her for the wonderful dog she is & will work with her on her digging habit. Or an apartment would be ideal for her. She's crate trained already.
